Embassy contractor sues Trump administration for at least $461 million

Harbert alleges State agreed to pay $370 million in September 2025, but the government paid only $501,636 before backing out.
The company filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, seeking at least $461,097,380 plus interest and other relief.
The case covers pandemic-related costs and other disputes on 12 projects; Harbert is not currently asking the court to enforce the alleged settlement.
