California and New York Expand Lawsuit Against Trump Administration Over Offshore Wind Lease Buybacks

The lawsuit targets the cancellation of projects by Invenergy and Bluepoint Wind, arguing these actions will raise electricity costs and hinder renewable energy efforts.
The attorneys general assert that these deals are illegal and detrimental to states' climate goals, with support from attorneys general in seven other states.
