US Charges 17 Iranians in Major Cyber Theft Scheme

Seventeen members of the Iran-based Mabna Institute are charged with cyber attacks targeting US institutions.
The group allegedly stole over 31 terabytes of data valued at approximately $3.4 billion.
The cyber campaign, linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, compromised 8,000 email accounts of US academics.
The DOJ is offering a $10 million reward for information on five of the accused hackers.
