U.S. Imposes Sanctions on Dubai Crypto Exchange for Links to Iran's IRGC

The U.S. Treasury sanctioned Shelbit for enabling crypto transactions for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Siavash Kayvanpour, Shelbit's founder, was also sanctioned for supporting the IRGC and Nobitex, Iran's largest crypto exchange.
The sanctions follow a Reuters investigation revealing Shelbit's role in a $4 billion sanctions evasion network.
