Bill Pulte to Step Down as Acting DNI, Jay Clayton to Succeed Him

Bill Pulte's tenure as Acting Director of National Intelligence will end on Monday, after two months in the role.
Jay Clayton, confirmed by the Senate, will take over immediately, following a contentious confirmation process.
During Pulte's time, he released intelligence documents related to election security, although much of the information was previously known.
