ICE officers required to wear body cameras during traffic stops after fatal shootings
- ICE officers will now be required to wear at least one body camera during most traffic stops, according to Tom Homan, the White House border czar.
- This requirement follows two fatal shootings involving ICE agents in Texas and Maine, where the victims were not the intended targets of enforcement operations.
- Homan stated that more than half of ICE's field offices already have body cameras deployed, with the remaining offices set to receive them within 60 days.
