FBI Transfers Assault Investigations of ICE Agents to HSI Amid Recent Fatal Shootings

The FBI has informed agents it will no longer investigate shootings involving ICE agents, transferring responsibility to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
This decision follows two fatal shootings by ICE agents in Texas and Maine, prompting scrutiny over the accountability of HSI in investigating its own officers.
