Keiko Fujimori Declared Winner of Peru's Presidential Election

Keiko Fujimori won the presidential race by just 49,641 votes, securing 50.13% of valid ballots.
She will be sworn in on July 28, becoming Peru's ninth president in a decade.
Leftist candidate Roberto Sánchez has vowed not to recognize Fujimori's government and plans to appeal the election results.
