DOJ seeks to keep Trump assassination attempt suspect jailed

Cole Allen has been charged with three counts, including attempting to assassinate the president, following the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.
D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro filed a memorandum arguing for Allen's detention, stating his actions were premeditated and violent.
If convicted, Allen faces a maximum life sentence in prison.
